Abstract
This working document is part of the contents of the International Museum Day 2021, by ICOM Mexico, “The Future of Museums: Recover and Reimagine”.
Walther Boesterly is director of the Museum of Popular Art (MAP) in Mexico City, invites us to reflect on the role of museums in the community. Challenges in the COVID-19 pandemic and question ourselves about “normality”.
The Topics to include and relate permanently in museums are: 1) the importance of publicizing the Natural Heritage, 2) the production of interdisciplinary information, and 3) the inclusion of Population with Disabilities to Museum Worlds.
