Abstract
He was National Coordinator of Plastic Arts of the National Institute of Fine Arts from 1997 to 2000 and was appointed President of the Association of Museums and Cultural Precincts of the Historic Center in 2003. At the same time he served as Director of the National Center for Conservation and Registration of Movable Artistic Heritage (CNCRPAM) of the National Institute of Fine Arts and as Artistic Director of INSITE (Tijuana, San Diego). His curatorial and museographic work is noteworthy, as well as his participation as a lecturer in Mexican art courses. He is currently General Director of the Museo de Arte Popular.
