Biography Adalberto Rios Szalay

Abstract

Distinguished Mexican photographer and anthropologist born in the state of Morelos. Distinguished as Doctor Honoris Causa by his alma mater, the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos. He studied administration and concluded his master's degree in anthropology. He has dedicated a good part of his life to academia. Professor and University Counselor at the University since 1968, he was a career professor at UNAM, and also a visiting professor at the University of San Carlos in Guatemala. Lecturer at universities from Yucatan to Baja California, the University of Upsala in Sweden, the University of New York, the University of California, UNESCO in Paris, the Fund for Cultural Heritage of Cuba, the Library of Congress, the Catholic University of Chile, the CIDEF in Caracas, Venezuela, the OAS in Washington, the Casa de America in Madrid, the Casa de las Americas in Havana and so on.
