Abstract

Juan Benito Artigas Hernández. Doctor in Architecture, graduate and Emeritus Master of the Faculty of Architecture of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Architect with a Master's Degree in Art History and Doctor in Architecture. Professor Emeritus of the Faculty of Architecture, UNAM. He belongs to the National System of Researchers (SIN) with level 3. Federico Sescosse Lejeune Award 2015 by ICOMOS Mexico, UNESCO.

For his research and publications he has been awarded the Order of Isabel La Católica by the government of Spain, with the approval of the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Enrique del Moral Domínguez" Award for Merit in Architectural Research, by the National Legion of Honor of Mexico. Mario Pani in Diffusion" Award from the Mexico City College of Architects and the Society of Mexican Architects. One of the 120 historians of Art and Architecture of Ibero-America through the ages by the Carolina Foundation of Spain and the Center for Documentation of Architecture and Urbanism of Latin America, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Author of approximately 40 books and more than 100 records between chapters and articles in Mexico, Spain, Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Italy and the United States.
