Azucena Menéndez Díaz

As part of the celebration of International Watercolor Day, the painter Azucena Menéndez Díaz welcomes us to the National Watercolor Museum "Alfredo Guati Rojo" in Mexico City, a meeting place where feelings, ways of being and thinking are shared through art as a witness of the history of man up until what today is known as fine arts. As a pictorial representation of events and customs, art accompanied the European growth of cultures such European growth of cultures such as Latin, Estruscan and Roman. Expressions such as painting, sculpture and architecture allow us to know the culture of these people. The constant development of arts allows us to get to know the passage of humanity through history, narrating events that have been decisive in the evolutionary process of human beings.
