Abstract

United Nations Organization-(UN-Habitat-III)

The “New Urban Agenda" is an extensive exhibition developed in a document prepared between different countries sponsored by the United Nations Organization (UN) through an order of global aspirations that confront the real socioeconomic conditions with the contemporary dynamics of the urban spaces. These guidelines are structured in three different sections where the different conditions of the fragile contemporary scenarios of sustainability are manifestly displayed. The most complex of these environments is the urban environment that requires a series of conditions of unavoidable coexistence. These contexts are sustained, so to speak, in the social, economic, environmental and spatial dimensions. In the same way, this represents means of implementation with permanent institutional mechanisms of intervention such as financing to accountability, as well as technology and information. Governance, monitoring and reporting actions cannot be dispensed with for the achievement of these purposes. This implies the exercise of control through supervision or at least an alienation of an international nature that involves the scrutiny of a natural system that is interrelated as represented by our global village, with the United Nations acquiring an essential leading role. The main objective of "The New Urban Agenda" is to establish action commitments based on the acceptance and recognition of the current contexts that are so intertwined, as well as the accompaniment of reinforcement measures with the purpose of achieving sustainable development in a context of diversity in overall solid and looking for equity.
