Abstract

Félix Candela, an architect of Spanish origin, arrived in Mexico in 1939 as a refugee from the Spanish civil war, where he would put his vision in architecture into motion, marking a great influence in our country.

Thanks to his work in concrete, his work was recognized in several countries, where he also left a legacy that lives on today.

In the book "the trail of Félix Candela shells of concrete building in Mexico and in the world" his work in Mexico and other countries is covered, revealing his great ingenuity and his legacy in the field of architecture.
