Abstract

Manuel Gimenez Aperte, studied Technical Engineering in Zaragoza where he develops his working life. He is linked to the Centro de Estudios Borjanos since its foundation, where he has collaborated in the elaboration of the artistic and architectural inventories of the Borja region and in the assembly of the museums of "La Colegiata", "Arqueológico" and "Convento de Santa Clara", all of them in Borja. Manuel Giménez Aperte declares himself to be a lover of castles. He acquired the one in Grisel and spent 20 years restoring it, a work in which he invested between 1.5 and 2 million euros. When the reconstruction was completed, he embarked on a new adventure with the castle of Bulbuente, which he hopes to finish this year.
