Abstract
Manuel Gracia Rivas has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Zaragoza, author of numerous books and articles on naval subjects and cultural heritage, he was awarded the Premio del Mar by the Ministry of Defense on two occasions for his works; La Sanidad en la Jornada de Inglaterra (1587-1588) and Historia de la Sanidad Naval (History of Naval Health). Commendation of the Order of St. Sisenando of Portugal.
