Abstract
Several ceremonies were held at the National Academy of Architecture for the filling of vacancies in positions from which some of the great Emeritus Academicians within the institution are retiring.
These ceremonies were held one by one, giving way to individual speeches of gratitude and expectation on the part of the New Academicians Emeritus, from recounts of life teachings and subject matter, this being architecture and its various points of their predecessors, as well as anecdotes of their own trajectories.
These speeches shared the characteristic of overflowing with praises to their predecessors, as well as great tributes from the confrontation to life, the architectural solutions, their most outstanding works and the management of the theories of architecture applied to their professional practice.
