Memories and stories 50 years after the founding of the Faculty of Psychology: The horizon

Abstract

Document that reflects on the 50 years of the Faculty of Psychology, highlighting the importance of remembering its origins and development throughout its existence. The author calls us to remember the contributions of the Faculty to the training of future psychologists, its research work and the mental health care services that it has been organizing uninterruptedly since its foundation. These contributions, completed with a comprehensive museographic vision, gave rise to the Exhibition "Memories and Stories 50 Years On", held at the María Luisa Dehesa Gómez Farías Gallery of the Faculty of Architecture of the UNAM. They constitute a call to look to the future, to creatively confront the problems of inequality and poverty that the country faces, with a transdisciplinary approach that enriches society.
