Abstract

This brief article develops some ideas surrounding the use of AI tools in the educational process. On the one hand, it recognizes that AI has the potential to facilitate the learning process and promote educational innovation. On the other hand, it highlights that the risks it poses in terms of job losses, inequality between nations, and violations of student privacy cannot be ignored.
The document emphasizes dialogue and cooperation between organizations as a useful tool, especially aimed at mitigating risks. It also calls for questioning the effectiveness of current regulatory frameworks, such as the recently approved legislation by the European Union.
