Abstract

This UNESCO document analyzes the role of education in supporting the contemporary digital and ecological transition process. It explains that the world is experiencing a period of instability marked by artificial intelligence and climate change. In this context, it presents four strategies that place education as the central axis for reconciling the digital transition with the requirements demanded by the principles of environmental and ecological sustainability. For example, it discusses designing curricula oriented toward sustainable development and innovation in green energy. It also suggests training students in digital skills, ethical participation, creativity, and emotional intelligence.
