Abstract
Feminist Peace in Times of War, Pandemic, and Climate Change

Realist, liberal, and cosmopolitan theories of peace predominant in a globalized world, did not question the patriarchal models of the economy that have destroyed the welfare of the people and the planet by the Patriacene. Transnational corporations have promoted extractive wars in the Global South and the NATO military-corporate-scientific-financial complex has produced a realistic response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. It has expanded the theater of war into Asia and produced millions of refugees, deaths, and injuries on both sides. Globally, it has induced higher price inflation in food, energy, and services. This article explores a sustainable-engendered and decolonized peace from below to counter patriarchal violence and generate prosperity and environmental recovery. Care work, primarily in the hands of women and indigenous peoples, has sustained communities and recovered the environment. It prevents and peacefully negotiates conflicts, promotes living well, and protects Mother Earth from the impacts of climate change.
