As part of the celebration of the Second Ibero-American Meeting on University Heritage in Puebla, topics such as the lived, conceived, or imagined city; the protection, conservation, and dissemination of university heritage in heritage cities; the appreciation of historic cities and the profitability of their tourist uses were addressed. This has led to the need to continue and deepen the reflections contributed by the speakers and researchers. This has made it possible to set new goals and forms of communication, thus forming an Ibero-American Network of University Cultural Heritage, which aims to be a space for regular and permanent exchange for researchers dedicated to heritage. The network aims to promote research, training, dissemination, the circulation of knowledge, and social participation from an intercultural, inclusive, and respectful perspective, understanding heritage as a cultural right and a fundamental part of the social well-being of Ibero-American peoples.
