Abstract
The book focuses on the history of feminism in Yucatán at the beginning of the 20th century. Through the careers of Rita Cetina Gutiérrez, Elvia Carrillo Puerto, and Rosa Torre González, it highlights the drive and influence of feminism in shaping political life in Mexico. These figures sought to promote the exercise of political and economic rights for women in Mexican politics.
