Abstract
This work focuses on UNESCO's Creative Economy Reports from 2008, 2010, and 2013, as well as an analysis of the relationships between cultural diversity, creativity, and their impact on sustainable development. Taken together, these reports allow for a rethinking of the 2015, 2018, and 2022 cultural policies, which have consistently provided information demonstrating how the close articulation and reciprocal influence between the diversity of cultural expressions, creativity, and development must converge. The book refers to documents such as the Convention on the Promotion and Protection of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions (2005 Convention) in achieving the goals and targets of the UN's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The aim is for States Parties—through their national governments—to promote diversity and creativity toward sustainable development.
