Abstract
The ways in which towns are organized are part of their culture, as recognized by eminent specialists in heritage issues, such as Guillermo Bonfil. Defining common objectives, summoning wills to achieve them, joining forces in an orderly fashion, dividing tasks, effectively directing and capitalizing on experiences, constitute assets that are part of the cultural heritage of every society.Organizational culture acts as a structural support for productive and social projects, encourages the rational management of resources, stimulates innovation and creation. To its importance as an instrument of productivity and generator of wealth, its potential as a starting point for rewarding, participatory and fair schemes must be added.
The secular milestones of Mexican multiculturalism have been sustained in organizational forms, defined according to their vision, history and conditions of the different environments in which they have occurred, for this reason its study is a source for the definition of bodies of knowledge useful to imagine the future, according to a past present.
This publication focuses on moments, events and characters that have determined the organizational culture of Mexico, from pre-Hispanic times to gratifying current examples that, in different latitudes, endorse the organizational capacity and talent of Mexicans.
Recognizing the organizational and entrepreneurial capacity, as part of our heritage, allows us to redefine the relevance of this key piece of our culture.
