Abstract
The Convention defines, in its 20 articles, the recognition that wildlife constitutes an irreplaceable element of the earth's natural systems and that it must be conserved and protected for the good of humanity. Each human generation manages the earth's resources for future generations, so we must be aware of the value of wildlife from the environmental, ecological, genetic, scientific, aesthetic, recreational, cultural, educational, social and economic points of view.
The conservation, as well as the effective care and use of migratory species of wild animals, require the concerted action of all the States within whose national jurisdiction limits these species spend some part of their biological cycle.
